BIO

AMESLARI, whose name means “dreamer” in Basque, is a 25-year-old artist from Brazil.

Singing and writing in English about life, love, youth and all the very personal feelings, thoughts and emotions that permeate those things, AMESLARI states: “I want people to dance and vibe to my music, but most of all I want to make them think”. Those themes are paired with energetic sound rooted in rock - influenced by The Killers, Elton John, Rush, Radiohead, U2 and many more - but with very diverse references, including (but not limited to) electronic music such as Depeche Mode, Avicii and Kygo, hard rock such as Linkin Park and even metal.

AMESLARI has released a debut album - 2019’s “City Stories” - and 5 singles ("Everything At Once", "The Heart", "The Midnight People”, "The Young" and “Distance”), which came out from 2020 to 2022. All were produced alongside genius sound engineer Thiago Monteiro.

In 2023, the artist went back to the studio to record a second album, titled “The Void”, which is expected to come out in the latter half of the year. The first single from the album, “The Candle & The Wildfire”, was released on August 25th, 2023, and it deals with how a person can be to someone both an intense feeling of passion that ends quickly (a wildfire) and a low-burning flame that lasts a long time, which is love (a candle). The song, as is the entire album, is based on the breakup of a relationship AMESLARI had, which took a heavy toll.

The young artist has a backing band consisting of drummer Thiago Carbonari, guitarist Moi Gonzales, bassist Paulo Arcanjo and keyboardist Alessandro Perê.
