BIO

AMESLARI, whose name means “dreamer” in Basque, is a 26-year-old artist from Brazil.

Singing and writing in English about life, love, youth, the world we live in and all the very personal feelings, thoughts and emotions that permeate, surround and come from those things, AMESLARI states: “I want people to dance and vibe to my music, but most of all I want to make them think”. Those themes are paired with energetic sound rooted in rock - influenced by The Killers, Elton John, Rush, Radiohead, U2 and many more - but with very diverse references, including (but not limited to) electronic music such as Depeche Mode, Avicii and Kygo, hard rock such as Linkin Park and even metal.

AMESLARI’s first album, 2019’s “City Stories” - which includes the hit single “Mirrorball” - was followed by 5 singles ("Everything At Once", "The Heart", "The Midnight People”, "The Young" - which was another hit - and “Distance”), which came out from 2020 to 2022. All were produced alongside genius sound engineer Thiago Monteiro.

In 2024, AMESLARI released a second album, titled “The Void”. It deals with sorrow, pain and the many complicated feelings of a broken-up relationship experienced by the young artist. The first single from the album, “The Candle & The Wildfire”, was released in 2023, and two more followed along with the album’s release: “Different People” and “Hope II: Another Form Of Pain”.

A solo artist, AMESLARI has a backing band consisting of drummer Thiago Carbonari, guitarist Moi Gonzales, bassist Paulo Arcanjo and keyboardist Alessandro Perê.
